The parking lot at Seltún
Seltún in Krýsuvík is a conveniently located hot spring area not far from Reykjavík. The area is easily accessible with paths and steps that allow tourists to explore the area safely. Many old hiking trails lead from Krýsuvík and the colorful beauty of the area is unparalleled.
The parking lot is next to the hot spring area, so it's a short walk after you've parked. There are also restroom facilities and information signs to learn about the area.
There are no fines for not paying on site, but instead using automatic lookup. In those cases, the car owner will receive a parking fee sent to their online bank account, plus a bank transfer fee.
NOTE! If the car is owned by another party, such as a car rental company, fees may be added from the party that owns the car.
Price list
The fee is valid all day, from midnight to midnight, regardless of which parking lot is used.
