Höfðatorg
The Höfðatorg parking garage has a total of about 1300 parking spaces with access from Katrínartún and Þórunnartún. The spaces are intended for employees of companies at Höfðatorg and their customers, as well as residents of Bríetartún 9-11.
Payment methods
For general parking fees, there are three options.
Payment machine
Pay at the payment machine on site before leaving the basement. You are charged for the minutes you park.
EasyPark
Users who have an active account with EasyPark can use the app to manage usage in the Höfðatorg parking garage.
Automatically to the bank
Check-it never sends fines. If payment is not completed using the above methods, the car owner will have the parking fee sent to their home bank, plus a banknote fee of ISK 130.
There are no fines for not paying on site, but instead use automatic registration and lookup.
NOTE! If the car is owned by another party, such as a car rental company, fees may be added by the party that owns the car.

Evenings 22:00 - 08:00 and weekends
290 kr. per hour
Checkit's customer service is open every weekday between 9 am and 4 pm and answers all inquiries via email checkit@checkit.is
Parking users at Kirkjusandur can use the EasyPark app for automatic check-in and check-out.

The options now are:

If neither is chosen we will send the parking bill to the car owner.
No fines are charged from us but a small banking fee
(kr. 130) will be added when using this method.
If the car is owned by a rental company, fees may be added by the party that owns the car.
Companies in subscription
Monthly subscription fee
The building operator is responsible for registering companies for subscription. On the one hand, there is a certain number of spaces included in the lease agreement and/or special agreements on the number of spaces for subscription that are negotiated separately.
Subscription quota
If a company's parking quota is full, the next cars in line will wait for it to become available. Cars outside the quota are subject to the general rate, but as soon as a space becomes available, the car is automatically moved into the quota and general charging stops, whether through EasyPark or a fee sent to your online bank. You only pay for the minutes that the car is outside the quota.
